I'm salty we're just going to let Symantec "sell" its cert business to digicert and own 30%+ of the resulting company. That is not selling the way I see it. The way I see it, Symantec bought digicert. Just look at how they've graciously let the current CEO of digicert continue as CEO for now. Browser vendors should get together and come up with a plan to sunset all certs by Symantec/Digicert when (and not if) the next time they're caught with their hand in the cookie jar (a one more strike and you're out policy).
