Let's talk about jobs. What are jobs? Jobs are things we do to create and provide value to society. What is value? We could go on forever but I will go straight to my defense of job destroyers.
I will talk about it further later but my main point is that when we reduce the number of workers needed to do currently available jobs, we increase productivity and free up human resources to do other different things possibly leading to new things we would not have had otherwise.
