There's a quote about how anything sufficiently advanced concept is indistinguishable from magic. I'll go further and say there is no such thing as magic in programming. If something sounds magical, it is just abstracted a bit too far from us or we're not thinking about it enough.
Let's try to remember that there is no magic at least when it comes to programming and computer science.
