Did schools teach​ you to type on your phone?

I think it is important to learn to type on a good on screen keyboard these days. However, the problem is that there is no standardization and there is not a whole lot of skill you can transfer across platforms. What do schools teach? Do schools teach basic maths and science or do they teach practical things like how to file taxes?
