Thinking git

My thought about code and source control is that if you're code doesn't exist in source control, it doesn't exist at all.

My second thought is that you shouldn't worry about your revision history. All people really care about is the head at master. Nobody will git bisect to check what typographical errors you made three years ago. So don't worry about these things.

My third thought is don't rewrite public history. Just don't do it unless you committed and pushed something you can't reset like someone's social security number.
